My name is Zhe-Yu Wu.  I have three members in my family, including my mother, my elder brother, and I.  Because my parents usually had arguments about financial problems, their marriage ended in divorce when I was an elementary school student.  The life without father's love didn't bring me down at all.  Instead, I learned that I had to be more independant than other children of my age.  Seeing that my mother usually gets exhausted after working, I have a part-time job at school to support my life expenses.  Because of the part-time job, I can reduce my mother's financial burden.  My mother is a career woman.  Though she doesn't earn a lot of money, she can always give me what I need.  She always says, "It is possible for you to become a successful man one day if you study hard.  But if you don't make any effort, you will become a nobody."  My mother is the best teacher of my life.  My brother now is a senior stuent at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology.  He is also my best friend.  He always encourages me to study hard and look on the bright side of everything.  He always says, "A smile can create infinite power that you can't image."  I really appreciate that I have a wonderful family.
I studied at Department of Applied Foreign Languages, National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School.  I still remembered the first day when I sat at my desk in the classroom, and my teacher asked if there was any volunteer that wanted to try the job as the class leader.  Nervous as I was, I raised my hand slowly and said I wanted to give it a try.  Being a class leader, I had to help my classmates handle their problems and informed them of the messages from teachers or the school.  As a result, I learned how to let other people understand what I wanted to express specificly.  At the end of the first semester, I would receive thank-you cards from my classmates.  They always wrote, “You are so responsible that I want to thank you for your effort for this class.”
    
     There were a lot of activities in which I had participated during my school life in NTCVS.  The most exciting one that deeply impressed me was annual sports meet.  At that day, I underwent the most unforgettable experience with my classmates.  Because of the desire to win the teamwork award, we all had a sense of cooperation.  Though some of the classmates didn't perform well in their events, the rest classmates would cheer them up instead of blaming them.  Finally, we reached our expectation and won the first prize.  At the moment when I knew we all succeeded,  I realized that people could do everything if they cooperated with each other.
   
     Being an English major, I dedicated myself to English every day.  In addition to studying textbooks at school, I also read magzines such as Studio Classroom and Advanced to improve my reading ability.  Moreover, in my free time, I usually watched movies in English and listened to English songs to enhance my English listening.  Because I was earnest in all my studies, I made a great progress in every aspect.  With my teachers’ encouragement, I took the General English Proficiency Test and passed the intermediate level.  Therefore, I really appriciated what my teachers had done for me.  And I will never forget what I had undergo with my all classmates and teachers during the three years at my senior high school.

My name is Charlotte. I was born in Taipei and then moved to Kaohsiung. There are four members in my family, including the parents and an older sister. My parents are very busy and working hardly, so I am very independent.

The process of pursuing my studies, I have good relationships with classmates and communicate well with teachers. I’ve also been class officers many times.

In junior high, I’d been class officers sequentially, such as class constable and class secretary, etc. I’d also been English and History assistant teacher several times. Through the experiences of being class officers, not only strengthen the work and communication skills, also won praises from teachers.

In senior high, the school and the homeroom teacher are very open-minded; they encourage students to participate lots of activities joyously. On one occasion, there was a carnival in the school 8th anniversary. I was responsible for connecting with manufacturers and arranging the shift table. In the university, I entered the Department of Republic Relations of International Trade Student Council. In the influence of my mother (the manager of insurance industry), I am interested with financial and choose the Department of Finance as my minor. What a wonderful dream I had today!  In my dream, I am a father who has three children and a beautiful,considerate wife whom I love in my real life.  Besides, I am an English teacher who has high salaries which enables me to support the whole family.  Furthermore, my wife is also a teacher who majors in math.  As a result, we can help our children who are all students in preschool with their homework.  To my happiness, they are all cute and simple-hearted.  Everyday after I have no class, I always pick them up, and we go to a park playing hide-and-seek and exercising together.  As soon as we feel tired, we go home at once, and my wife always has prepared delicious dinner waiting for us already.  After having dinner, my wife and I help our children check up their homework.  In the evening before they go to bed, I always read a story for them to help them fall sleep well.  In conclusion, It was the best dream that I have ever had and I hope it will come true someday.

I love the feeling that the cool wind which can make me feel pleasant blows through my face.  Therefore, spring is my favorite season.  There are more than one reason why I love spring.  First of all, the weather in spring is not extremely hot or cold.  Because my body will sweat a lot whenever I do exercises, I don't like the hot weather especially.  Secondly, plenty of flowers will blossom during those three months instead of withering.  As a result, not only can I appreciate various kinds of colorful flowers and luxuriant trees, but I don't need to sweep a legion of fallen leaves from trees at school.  Last but not the least, spring is the main reason of harvest.  Consequently, vagetables and various kinds of fruits in spring are always cheaper than in any other season.  Because of that reason, I can usually have delicious meals.  To sum up, I am certainly sure that spring is the best season in my mind because of the reasons I mentioned.

Michael Williams ran the music shop just a little more than three months.  Why he failed to run his shop well and closed it quickly?  There are several reasons which can let us understand Michael Williams's  failure to the shop.  First of all, most of the CDs in the shop were hip-hop and rock which caught the teenagers' eyes.  However, most of the residents of the Fairfax were more than 31 years old.  Therefore, the CDs would not be popular.  In addition, the location of the shop was just 3 miles away from a shopping center that has two large music stores.  Of course, the little shop could not be compared with the shopping center.  Next, Michael Williams would not accept checks or credit cards.  As far as the customers were concerned, they didn’t like to take a lot of cash with them when they were shopping.  Consequently, it was certainly not convenient for customers to buy items from the shop only by cash.  Last but not the least, the little shop was open Monday to Friday from 1 to 5 P.M.  However, there were fewest passersby walking by the shop during the period.  According to these reasons, we can understand why the little shop couldn’t last for a long time.

A lot of schools have the rule to go to school in uniform.  As a student, I don't think that it is a good way.  First of all, when it is a summer day, it will be very uncomfortable to ride a bike in uniform.  Furthermore, it is not convenient for girls to ride a bike in skirt.  Next, if students have to wear uniform every day, they will have to wash it everyday.  That may be a trouble for them.  Finally, I think the sport shirts are better than uniform, because they make student more comfortable and convenient.  To sum up, I hope the schools can change the rule.

  After I graduated from the junior high school, I decided to major in English at National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School.  There are some reasons why I chose the major.  First of all, when I was young, I has been interested in English a lot.  And I always felt excited when I saw foreigners walking on the street.  In addition, because of globalization, English becomes the main language all over the world and more and more important.  As a result, English is a principal rule to make friends from other countries, have successful business, and so on.  Last but not the least, I am a man full of adventure, and I have a dream of being a backpacker traveling around the world.  I know that it is necessary to have the ability which can speak English fluently and read English smoothly.  In short, I think choosing English as a major as a wonderful decision, and I will continue to study it hard.

A lot of schools have the rule to go to school in uniform.  As a student, I don't think that it is a good way.  First of all, when it is a summer day, it will be very uncomfortable to ride a bike in uniform.  Furthermore, it is not convenient for girls to ride a bike in skirt.  Next, if students have to wear uniform everyday, they will have to wash it everyday.  That may be a trouble for them.  Finally, I think the sport shirts are better than uniform, because they make student more comfortable and convenient.  To sum up, I hope the schools can change the rule.

  I think using nuclear power to solve the energy crsis is not a good way.  First, there is a lot of nuclear garbage after producing energy.  And there is no place which wants to be filled with nuclear garbage.  Next, nuclear power is very dangerous and unstable.  Take Japan for instance, the serious earthquake and destructive Tsunami caused serious destruction to the nuclear power plants in Japan.  The fatal radiation spread the whole Asia.  Finally, to make the nuclear power plants cool, great amount of water is needed.  However, the waste water will be released to the ocean.  As a result, it will kill a lot of coral and make it white.  To sum up, because of these bad results, I don't think nuclear power is a good way to solve the energy crsis.

What a wonderful dream I had today!  In my dream, I am a father who has three children with my wife who I love in my real life.  I am an English teacher who has high salaries.  My wife is also a teacher, but she majors in math.  Our children are all students in preschool.  They are all cute and simple-hearted.  Everyday after I have no class, I go to pick them up.  We always go to a park playing hide-and-seek and exercising together.  When we feel tired, we go home at once, and my wife always has prepared delicious dinner waiting for us.  After having dinner, my wife and I help our children check up their homework.  Before they go to bed, I always read a story for them to help them fall sleep well.  It was the best dream that I have ever had.  I hope it will come true someday.

The year when I was an eight-year-old boy, I underwent the most embarrassing day.  That day, I went to a market with my mother.  At first, we just went around and tasted the sample of food.  A few minutes later, I had no idea where my mom went.  At that moment, I felt nervous because the market was filled with people.
The first thing I would like to do was managed to find my mom.  Then, I started to look for a chubby woman with curly hair.  Ten minutes later, I was excited that I found a person who was similar to my mom.  As a result, I ran to grasp her by the hand and kept calling her "mom".  No sooner had she turned around than I felt very embarrassed because she not only wasn't my mom but carried a baby in her arm.  At that time I felt that I was possessed and I burst into crying.  When I was droven into despair , I found a woman running to me anxiously.  That was my mom.  After she carried my hand, I relaxed.  Though I arrived home safely, I underwent the most embarrassing day.  I would never forget that day.
