I think using nuclear power to solve the energy crsis is not a good way.  First, there is a lot of nuclear garbage after producing energy.  And there is no place which wants to be filled with nuclear garbage.  Next, nuclear power is very dangerous and unstable.  Take Japan for instance, the serious earthquake and destructive Tsunami caused serious destruction to the nuclear power plants in Japan.  The fatal radiation spread the whole Asia.  Finally, to make the nuclear power plants cool, great amount of water is needed.  However, the waste water will be released to the ocean.  As a result, it will kill a lot of coral and make it white.  To sum up, because of these bad results, I don't think nuclear power is a good way to solve the energy crsis.
